Work

Somewhere along the way I realized I preferred walkable neighborhoods and noodle shops over boardrooms and recurring meetings that could've been emails.

So I traded the corporate grind for a laptop and a carry-on, and now spend most of my time somewhere in Asia helping brands create content that's faster to produce, clearer in message, and ready to publish without the usual back-and-forth drama.

My Background

I've been creating and marketing content online since 2000 — back when "digital marketing" meant static websites and dial-up tones.

Since then I've worked across just about every corner of online marketing: copywriting, SEO, content strategy, email marketing, funnels, ecommerce, product marketing, social, and million-dollar budgets. I've also held VP of Marketing roles spanning digital, retail, print, and TV.

Over the years I've helped launch ecommerce brands, grow blogs, build content systems, scale traffic, improve conversions, and write messaging that actually connects with real people.

These days I combine all of that with modern AI tools to help brands create content that's useful, human, and doesn't sound like it was written by a committee.

How I Can Help

The work is pretty straightforward — I come up with content strategies and write things that sound human, connect with the right people, and don't need seventeen rounds of edits to get there. And yes, I use AI tools if you were wondering — because why wouldn't you?

It usually falls into one of these buckets:

  • Copywriting — Long and short form, landing pages, website copy, and brand messaging that sounds like a human wrote it.

  • Ecommerce — Product descriptions, category pages, FAQs, and conversion-focused content.

  • Email — Campaigns, automations, and sequences people might actually want to open.

  • Strategy — Content systems, calendars, workflows, and messaging direction that make sense in the real world.

How I Work

Reach out through the form below or email me directly. We'll exchange a few messages, and if it feels like a good fit we'll jump on a video call. From there we'll either put a plan together or part ways having had a decent conversation — both outcomes are fine.

A few things worth knowing upfront:

  • Flat project pricing with clearly defined scope and deliverables. To give you a sense of range, short-term projects typically work out to around $150/hr, with long-term partnerships coming in lower.

  • Fast communication, low drama, no unnecessary nonsense. Ever.

  • Best fit for travel, lifestyle, health, wellness, food, and creator-focused brands.

  • Available for projects or ongoing partnerships. I don't take on one-off blog posts or RFP responses — if that's what you need, I'm probably not your guy.
